To Blapp, you don't need defense or resists. Just hop in the middle and start wacking stuff. Most blappers are single target blasters. Choose, then kill. Choose, kill. Until all are gone. Avoid aggroing more than 1 enemy at a time. That said it is good for a Blapper to IO for defense and resists. You will spend less time licking the floor.
