2010, Feb 20th
I've been waiting to do this comic for a long time and I have a ton more coming! I put extra effort into the paneling, the layout, and color shading in this comic. It's supposed to be a special event and I treated it with the care I thought it deserved.
Despite that, it took less time to do because of the lack of dialogue and over-all panels and characters, but the different angles and views were really HARD! Front, back, side, up, and down. Not only that, but this is the first comic where people are clinging to each other and that was not simple to figure out how to make look right.
I know it's not perfect and I could probably do better some day, but considering my current skill, I'm pretty proud of it.
Fun Facts
- Garuk can't actually fly in the game. I have a reasonable explanation for how he was able to here, but that's for a later comic 🙂
- I finally made it out of Pocket D! The leadup to this comic has taken so long I'm sure everyone thought I had just gotten really lazy about backgrounds.
