What is Gameamp.com?
Early on after my first month of playtime had expired and I decided to write my very first gameplay guide, I wanted to post it to the official forums, but found out that they don't let you post if your account isn't active.
I complained a while, but eventually just looked around for a good alternative forum to post in instead. I found Gameamp. Gameamp was my first forum home for City of Heroes information and the people there were very nice, very helpful, and highly knowledgable.
Sadly, not that long ago, Gameamp shut down. I'm sad to see it go, but I'm happy that I met a lot of great people/players who I still connect with in-game via the "Gameamp.com" channel. In the meantime, while I know the "ampers" have set up a new home over at guildportal.com, it was about the same time that I was contacted by people from battleclinic.com
Though Battleclinic was a site dedicated to Eve Online, they were starting up a CoH/V presence and wanted to invite me to be a part of it. Since that would help me with traffic, help them with content, and they have an affiliate program through NCsoft (which I've always been looking for), I agreed!
After redesigning my page from the ground up (GOD that took forever!), finally buying the JORDANS-TOWN domain, and getting set up as a forum moderator at Battleclinic, a new stage in my CoH/V life has begun 😀
Remember that you can support Jordan's Town by buying time cards through Battle Clinic. Since it's the same price as anywhere else, we at Jordan's Town (meaning me) appreciate it greatly if you just buy them after clicking my affiliate links so I get some credit for the sale.
Either way, until and unless I ever make my own forums (which right now seems extremely unlikely), check out the ones over at BattleClinic.com
